Short answer: 7-8 weeks for standard playgrounds including production timelines for the equipment. Our lead times on play equipment are currently at an industry leading 6-7 weeks!, Once ground breaks, a commercial playground installation with safety surfacing typically takes 3-5 days to complete.

Our theme structures have additional lead times, based on how customized the structure is. We’ll confirm an installation schedule shortly after the order is placed. Then we’ll communicate updates as we reach new milestones. Installation time varies based on the structure size and the number of posts the play structure has. Once ground breaks, it typically takes us 3 to 5 days to complete a playground installation with surfacing. Larger projects can take 8-10 days.

Prior to installation, we call 811 and a private utility locator to ensure our digging and footers don’ disrupt service. On the first day of installation, our installers begin by reviewing the 2D layout with the customer. Once all details are confirmed, our certified crew gets to work.

We kick off with a site consultation. Our team observes the area grading, takes detailed pictures, and measures the space. For Shade Structure designs, we will take into account where the sun rises and sets, to consider how to best protect the space from the more UV intensive times of the day. We note any existing equipment, landscaping, and other structures on the site. This information is sent to our CPSI-certified engineer, who will build out the preliminary 2D design. We then’ send different options of playground structures, freestanding play equipment, and safety surfacing options that fit for your space so we can begin to narrow down a preliminary design and turn-key budget for the project, that makes sense for you. Upon a decision, we create a comprehensive 2D design for your review. Once the 2D design is approved, we lay out a 3D site rendering to give you an even more realistic overview of what the entire playground space will look like. Finally, we send you an itemized quote listing prices for each turn-key aspect of the job!
