Zoom Recreation was hired to manufacture and install a triple hip shade for Alview Dairyland Unified School District (ADUSD) in Chowchilla, California.
With a DSA approved shade structure, the Zoom team was able to streamline the shade installation and design process for ADUSD, while providing a finished project that complied with all California safety standards.
The triple hip end shade structure was the perfect solution to cover a large play area. The team used a fire retardant fabric in the color "True Blue" to provide ultimate protection and pop of color to the space.
As a former elementary school teacher for nearly a decade and as the son of an early childhood professor, I'm fully aware of the importance of play in the development of the youth in our communities across Northern California. Children develop socially, emotionally and physically when interacting with welcoming parks and recreation spaces. Being able to see a family enjoy a park that I helped design and see through to construction is the most rewarding aspect of my job. It's a special moment experiencing one of our new park's grand opening events and seeing all the hard work come to fruition.
