Zoom Recreation was hired to excavate a new playground site that was originally a grass field near the El Rio Villas housing community.
Our playground design features a thoughtfully crafted ADA-accessible ramp that seamlessly connects with swings, slides, and climbing structures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Offering superior safety and durability, our high-quality wood fiber mulch provides a cushioned surface that reduces impact injuries, ensures excellent drainage, and supports eco-friendly, long-lasting play areas.
Zoom included a 14' x 14' modular quad shade sail, providing enhanced UV protection with 100% PTFE fibers for optimal durability and shade.
As a former elementary school teacher for nearly a decade and as the son of an early childhood professor, I'm fully aware of the importance of play in the development of the youth in our communities across Northern California. Children develop socially, emotionally and physically when interacting with welcoming parks and recreation spaces. Being able to see a family enjoy a park that I helped design and see through to construction is the most rewarding aspect of my job. It's a special moment experiencing one of our new park's grand opening events and seeing all the hard work come to fruition.
