The Nierman Preschool at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center wanted to do a full replacement of their aging playground space and update it with a new and modern build that incorporated a nature design theme.
The completed design incorporated a nature-inspired custom structure and blue pour-in-place rubber surfacing, enhancing play value and creating a visually unique aesthetic.
Another option is our Custom Flower Shade, which features a traditional umbrella base with five petal-shaped shades. With a 12' diameter, the petals can be customized with alternating colors, offering creative flexibility.
On November 15th, the school celebrated the completion of the playground project with the students and staff!
As a former engineer who worked in the construction industry for years, it has been a breath of fresh air to work for Zoom Recreation as a Project Manager on truly meaningful and exciting projects for local communities here in San Diego. Since working for Zoom, I have been able to use my past experience in engineering and project management to provide a seamless project experience for clients from the design phase to final product. Being able to design and build community spaces for my city has been a true joy and makes coming into work everyday a privilege. When I am not working at Zoom you can find me playing hockey, surfing, biking, and exploring nature.
