Zoom Recreation was hired in order to install one of our FX nature themed tree structures made from 100% recyclable materials. We also installed the compacted sub base and pour-in-place rubber surfacing.
Using our sustainable 6" square recycled plastic series, the Treehouse playground was provided for the 5-12 age group.
To fully complete the design, we provided Benches and an Umbrella Shade Structure.
As a former elementary school teacher for nearly a decade and as the son of an early childhood professor, I'm fully aware of the importance of play in the development of the youth in our communities across Northern California. Children develop socially, emotionally and physically when interacting with welcoming parks and recreation spaces. Being able to see a family enjoy a park that I helped design and see through to construction is the most rewarding aspect of my job. It's a special moment experiencing one of our new park's grand opening events and seeing all the hard work come to fruition.
